Day 13 — A fictional book
Day 14 — A non-fictional book
Day 15 — A fanfic

Day 13 — A fictional book

The story is unique, because its not much of a story, but a wonderful metaphor on life, aspirations, following your dream, conviction and living your dream. Certainly a must-read!

Day 14 — A non-fictional book
Did you know that years ago, there used to be about 80,000 geishas? Now there are only about 1800. This I learned from vh1's Jessica Simpsons The Price of Beauty :) The Japanese world and their culture never fails to fascinate me. and I absoluely loved this book.
Back of the book- "A literary sensation a runaway bestseller, this brilliant debut novel presents with seamless authenticity and exquisite lyricism the true confession of one of Japan's most celebrated geisha. In Memoirs of a Geisha, we enter a world where appearances are paramount: where a girl's virginity is auctioned to the highest bidder, where women are trained to beguile the most powerful men; and where love is scorned as an illusion. It is a unique and triumpant work of fiction-at once romantic, erotics, supspenseful- and completely unforgettable."

Day 15 — A fanfic

The romantic tensions between the characters are just thrilling to read. I remember reading this when I was little and as weird as it may sound, yes, I was young but somehow this book was something I couldn't put down. I remember not having a very good understanding of a lot of the words, but it really was very well written to pass.

Sad to say, I now rarely pick anything to read. I think I just need an extra push and be non-lazy for a day because I would certainly love to sit and enjoy a good book.
